My Why


Hi everyone and welcome to Daily Wellness. Wellness has become a huge part of my life because it helps me concur a lot of my struggles. Though life’s journey and each chapter, I have learned how to embrace change and move forward. I will admit to you that it has not been easy and there are still days that I struggle. I am thankful that I can stop, embrace and be grateful for what I have in life, because that is when I feel very blessed.


Life is about being a work in progress and it is never ending. Through my life’s journey I have experienced infertility, miscarriage, divorce, and major operations. My current struggle is dealing with the separation of my husband through Covid. My husband lives in the United States and I live in Canada. Having the international borders closed I cannot cross to see my husband. I will admit it is not easy, however I push forward and try my best to keep my spirits up, and I am a lot healthier by doing so.


Moving Forward


What helps me to move forward? Focusing on the positive. Someone very dear to me once said, you can choose to be a victim or not. I choose not. Many days moving forward can be a difficult task but it is so important that we do so.


Through my struggle of infertility, I adopted 2 beautiful girls and yes I also have the blessing of two biological boys. I am very blessed to have 4 amazing children in my life. My divorce was another chapter which brought struggles, and through this struggle Reiki found me and became a huge part of my life. Through Reiki I was able to heal from a major surgery with a partial removal of my intestinal track, which kept twisting as a byproduct of stress. I am now a Reiki Practitioner and thoroughly love helping others.


Wellness


Daily Wellness is about embracing the things in life that will help us move forward and have a positive impact in our life.


There was a time that exercise was a huge focus in my life and yes I will admit exercise is very important; however there are so many other things within our life that we need in order to remain healthy. Such as a healthy Mind, that which I realized along this journey of mine. Everything goes hand in hand. How much we move, what we eat, having a positive outlook, and becoming still.


Through exercise, eating healthy and mindful practice I try to choose me. Its not easy however it is worth it.


My Why


My why for this blog, it to help others. I am so grateful for all the amazing people in my life who have helped me along the way. Its saying thank you by giving back.


My goal to this site is to educate, mentor and reach out to others. Through connection, we can heal, have a positive impact and a life of growth.
